Corpach Marina operates independently as a not-for-profit organisation, reinvesting in its facilities and the local community. The marina facilities are community-owned by Caol Regeneration Company and operated by Thomas Telford Corpach Marina Ltd.
Day-to-day operations are managed by three staff members and overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors. Meet the Corpach marina directors and staff below.
Staff Members
Brian MacKinnon
Born and raised in Fort William, with the sea playing a central role in his life from an early age. Brian was first introduced to boating by his father, who operated passenger and self-drive hire boats from the town’s pier, sparking a lifelong passion for the water.
Brian’s early experience includes time spent working on sea fishing boats in Mallaig and around the Channel Islands, building a strong foundation of practical maritime knowledge.
He later took his skills offshore, working in the oil and gas industry, before ultimately securing his dream role as Marina Manager at Corpach Marina — bringing his experience, local knowledge, and passion for the sea back to the community he calls home.
