This walk  takes you up the Caledonian Canal from Corpach to the top of Neptune’s Staircase, a total of 4.5km/2.75 miles. This is all on towpath, and there is a crossing of the A830 busy road to be careful.

1. Simply leave the marina and walk up the towpath at the side of the canal, you can go up one side and return on the opposite bank. At the top of Neptune’s Staircase the route can be lengthened if you wish to walk further up the canal.
2. At Neptune’s Staircase you will find Moorings Hotel café for meals and coffee, as well as Candz Boutique for take away drinks and fabulous ice cream.
